Gojo
Blue, Red, Purple...GOJO in 5
One of the coolest characters in JJK and imo one of the best written too (top 5 for sure). It took me a while to realise how well Gege wrote Gojo. Being the strongest and still not being able to protect those closest to you is a terrible curse. Failing to protect Riko, failing to kill Geto, and him getting sealed, which led to so many deaths and consequences. Within 24hrs of Gojo's sealing, the Jujutsu Sorcerers suffered heavy losses, which led to Kenjaku and Sukuna going through with their plan. You realise more and more why Gojo is so focused on making sure the next generation of sorcerers reach his level (or close to it I guess). The jujutsu sorcerers relying on one man to maintain the balance between sorcerers and curses (and evil sorcerers) is a HUGE flaw. Like principle Yaga and them man got too comfortable just because Gojo was around. Then there is the whole Sukuna making Megumi his vessel. The man with the Six eyes and the Limitless technique can't catch a break. I will say, It is weird for Gege to not show Gojo's reaction to all the stuff that has happened while he was away. Like his boy Nanami dying or Losing Megumi to the enemy side. The only reason I can think of is due to Gojo's awakening (back when he killed Toji). Maybe it shut off his emotions? Like how he showed little to no emotion when finding Riko dead.
Personality
He’s a good dude man. Especially when you realise he could have turned evil so easily after he awakened the six eyes (If Geto wasn’t there to be his moral compass, Gojo would be an opp). Imo the only two people I see truly rooting for the Jujutsu high students are Nanami and Gojo. After seeing what happened to Geto, Gojo realised how important it is to prepare Megumi and the gang for the worst possible scenario. When he is gone. Man is caring through and through. He saved Yuji, Megumi and Yuta. He stopped the higher ups from killing Yuji and Yuta (because of Sukuna and Rika) and took Megumi under his wing so the Zenin clan don’t get their nasty clutches on him. He didn’t have to adopt the child of the man who killed his friend and traumatised his other friend, but he did anyway. Gojo puts all his faith into his students, the first thing he said when he got sealed was “My students will be fine”. What Gojo is mostly known for is being nonchalant and not serious. Which makes sense because he is the strongest and is literally untouchable. I like how he is scolded by everyone but him and Yuji vibe off of each other’s trolling. He’s a chill guy.
This doesn’t mean he doesn’t know when to get serious. He learned from his mistakes with Geto and makes sure to show no mercy to the opps. His demeanour towards curses and curse users (evil sorcerers) is cold and cocky. He knows curses are literally the embodiment of evil and doesn’t waste time mocking them before ending them. Current Gojo is different to his younger self. Before meeting Toji, he was not serious at all. AFTER meeting Toji, he humbly realised this is not a game and there are people out there who can bypass his infinity (Sukuna). Its weird because on one hand he got more serious and improved his hand to hand combat (because he knows his infinity is not enough), but in the other, he has gotten more confident because he has awakened his six eyes and knows the true essence of cursed energy.
Abilities
What makes Gojo so cool is how strong he is. He’s from the Gojo clan and was born with both the Six Eyes and the Limitless technique, this combination is BROKEN (The first person in 400 years to be born with both). I can talk about his hand to hand combat, Reverse Cursed Technique and how talented he is but I want to mention his two main abilities:
Six eyes: A trait that is only found in the Gojo clan. Gojo’s eyes are bright blue (his eyes looks like its reflecting a bright blue sky with clouds in them, really cool). It allows him to see the flow of cursed energy and read other people’s cursed technique. So right off the bat, he knows how your technique works. Lets not mention how his perception is ridiculous ( him being the first person ever to sense Toji standing behind him even though Toji has 0 cursed energy). The Six eyes reduces the amount of cursed energy it takes to use his abilities to an amount that is “Infinitesimally close to zero”. Meaning he will never run out of cursed energy.
Limitless: I would say this technique is unfair until I started seeing how Sukuna utilises the 10 shadows loool. Limitless lets Gojo manipulate space at will. It’s split into 3 categories. “Red” let’s him repel stuff, “Blue” lets him attract stuff and “Neutral” is an invisible barrier around Gojo that stops anything from reaching/touching him. This takes a huggeeee amount of cursed energy to use.
Both these abilities are actually dumb strong and would put anyone who has one of these at the peak of the Jujutsu World. Gojo has both. I mentioned how Limitless takes a large amount of cursed energy to use. Gojo can’t run out of it, so Limitless is active 24/7. Meaning you can’t touch him (unless you’re Toji or Sukuna).
Of course he has a domain expansion, this is the pinnacle of Jujutsu sorcery mannn. Unlimited Void is cracked, anyone Gojo targets within his domain has their mind flooded with endless information and stimuli. Leaving them stunned and unable to move.
Fun act: The reason Gojo wears a blindfold or dark shades is because of how taxing the six eyes is. Constantly being able to see everything for long periods of time causes fatigue.
Smoke
10/10, he’s learned from the mistakes he made when he was younger. Hesitating to kill Geto when he went rogue cost him dearly and he made sure not make that mistake twice, he got his get back and finished him. We see how unfazed he is when fighting against curses and curse users. Just like a Jojo villain, he will use his strongest move right off the bat (whether its domain expansion or Hollow purple, Hanami and Jogo held corn loool). After reaching enlightenment and understanding cursed energy, he became more cold and carried a “no BS” attitude when it came to taking out the opposition. Ngl I only really noticed this when he told Sukuna that he’s not going to hesitate killing him even if he is in Megumi’s body.
